This project involved creating a unique UX/UI design for a second-hand book selling application aimed at private individuals. The core value proposition of the application is the promotion of community sharing and proximity. To bring this to life, we designed the application to be centered around an interactive map, allowing users to visualize and discover books for sale in their immediate vicinity. Users can explore their neighborhood's literary offerings at a glance, fostering a sense of local community and promoting sustainable consumer practices. From a design perspective, the challenge was to ensure the application was user-friendly, intuitive, and engaging, all while maintaining a focus on this community-oriented ethos. The result is a digital platform that not only facilitates the buying and selling of used books but also nurtures a shared appreciation for literature within local communities.
